Most of the time, I take photos because I want to see what something will look like as a photograph. Other times, I just don't want to forget I saw it. And then there's the times I have no idea why I took that photo.
My photographer's eye sparked at several of your images. "Tree of Man" shows wonderful composition and the juxtaposition of the pole against a brilliant blue sky adds power to the statement.
I don't know what cameras you shoot with, but your style evokes my school of art which leans heavily toward low fidelity cameras. I shoot with vintage, pinhole and toy cameras and hang out at the forum at www.toycamera.com. If you haven't found this area of photography yet, I think you'd enjoy it. Some amazing photographers and a wonderfully supportive, friendly community.
