Most of the time, I take photos because I want to see what something will look like as a photograph. Other times, I just don't want to forget I saw it. And then there's the times I have no idea why I took that photo.

Deer in the front yard
A few weeks ago, we had friends over in the afternoon and a deer wandered through the front yard. I've never seen a deer in our yard before. June 2010.
