Most of the time, I take photos because I want to see what something will look like as a photograph. Other times, I just don't want to forget I saw it. And then there's the times I have no idea why I took that photo.

Mural for Pridefest '97
I did this 8 feet by 8 feet mural at the Milwaukee Pridefest in 1997. Originally, I was going to do a chalk mural in 1996. But rain canceled those plans. This 1997 mural was done with oil pastels. It was a fabulous experience. I donated the piece to the Pridefest organization.
