Most of the time, I take photos because I want to see what something will look like as a photograph. Other times, I just don't want to forget I saw it. And then there's the times I have no idea why I took that photo.

Shadow and Light
This statue was in an archway in a courtyard at the Vatican Museums. The light hit the archway spotlighting the statue in a brilliant manner. Photo taken in January, 1990.
