Most of the time, I take photos because I want to see what something will look like as a photograph. Other times, I just don't want to forget I saw it. And then there's the times I have no idea why I took that photo.

Village Church
January 8, 1990. Villavallelonga, Italy. This church is in the village that my great-grandfather came from in the late 19th century... circa 1890. It sits across the town square from the home of distant relatives.
